Summary
A late Louis XV bureau-plat with two leather lined rectangular drawers and a secret drawer in the frieze, two writing slides each side, on square tapering legs, the frieze inlaid with continuous key pattern and with ormolu borders, rosettes and pendant husks.
Provenance
Purchased from S.P. Poirier on 12th March 1765. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007
