Summary
A George III mahogany pedestal writing desk with moulded border to the rectangular leather lined top, fitted with three drawers in the frieze flanked by three drawers in each pedestal, the reverse with cupboards enclosing drawers.

Possibly invoiced by Messrs. Vile and Cobb, 19th May 1758:'For a Good Mahy Library Table....made to take apart, the top Cover'd with Leather...£12'. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007.
