Summary
Roman ‘Aesica’ type brooch, hinged type (pin missing), with central rib and fantail foot which is decorated with incised grooves which form a ‘V’ shape. Date: c. mid-first century AD. The brooch has strong parallels with Mackreth 2011, 6109 and 6125 (plate 29; for a discussion of the type, see p. 47).
