Summary
Bell. A bell, for the mechanical clock in the tower of the stable block of Penrhyn Castle, made of a copper alloy to strike the hours and half hours. The bell is suspended from a wooden beam above and is activated by an external cast-iron hammer. The hammer is connected to the main mechanism by a system of cables and rocking arms attached to the building structure at various points.
