Summary

Railway lamp. A locomotive lamp of box shape with a cylindrical chimney on top. A square looped fixed handle of circular steel rod is attached to the body. The front is hinged and contains a clear glass lens within a copper bezel, and there is a small hinged flap to the top. One side is also hinged, for access to the burner, which is missing. The back has an arched plate with a grub screw, for attachment to the fitting on the locomotive. The lamp is painted white with a silver interior.
