Summary
Locomotive plate. An oval, brass maker's plate from a railway locomotive, no.2658, built W. G. Bagnall Ltd. in 1942. The plate has a polished brass raised border and lettering, and there are two fixing holes. The background is painted red. The locomotive was a 0-4-0ST No.8 at Beckton Gas Works, Essex, and was scrapped in 1961.
