Summary
Locomotive plate. An oval, brass maker's plate from a railway locomotive, no.2123, built by Peckett & Sons Ltd. in 1951. The plate has a polished brass surface with an inscribed oval border and lettering filled with black wax, and there are two fixing holes. The locomotive was a 0-4-0ST No.33 at Beckton Gas Works, Essex, and was scrapped in 1962.
