Summary
Locomotive plate. An oval, brass maker's plate from a railway locomotive, no.1335, built by the Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd. in 1919. The plate has a polished brass raised border, raised inner oval border, and lettering, and the background is painted red. There are two fixing holes. The locomotive was a 0-4-0ST No.40 at Beckton Gas Works, Essex, and was scrapped in 1959.
