Summary
One of a set of four George II silver table candlesticks, John Priest, London, 1753, of unusual design, the shaped circular bases cast and chased with rocaille and beads above openwork scrolling borders, knopped baluster stems and vase-shaped sconces, further decorated with harebells and scrolls, Stewart crest with detatchable nozzles.
