Summary
A Miles Master, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 25B, 1939. Narrow deep body with a plastic rounded front cockpit containing figures on top. A single pair of rounded wings with notched, rounded rectangular fins. Painted gloss yellow, the cockpit clear with yellow outlines. red propeller tip and black hand painted lines on the tail. Roundels on wings and body radiating red white blue. Number 4 of a large collection of one hundred and thirty four painted 1:70/1:72 scale wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
