Summary
A Hawker Fury, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 3, 1932. Aircraft painted silver except black propeller with red boss and wheels. Red, white & blue roundels on upper & lower wings and fuselage sides. Red, white & blue stripes on tail fin. Two red lines link roundels on upper wings and there are red triangles on the fuselage sides. Number 38 of a large collection of one hundred and thirty four painted wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
