Summary
A Dewoitine 500, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 13A, 1935. The model is painted dark green with the engine and cockpit area painted silver. There are blue, red and white stripes on the tailfin, and also similarly coloured French roundels on wings. A Hamley's sticker is applied under fuselage. Number 3 of a large collection of one hundred and thirty four painted wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
