Summary
A Blackburn Shark, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 17A, 1936. Double pairs of wings, with a cock pit and mounted with a plastic gun. metal propeller. Painted metallic silver with black strip on top edge of the body, red bomb tips. Roundels on wings and side body radiating red, white, blue. Number 11 of a large collection of painted wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
