Summary
A Supermarine Spitfire, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 14A, 1937. The model is painted a grey blue colour with brown propeller blades. There are red, white and blue RAF roundels upper and lower wing surfaces and fuselage. Number 1 of a large collection of one hundred and thirty four painted wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
