Summary
Storage Jar and Lid. White slip earthenware with clear glaze. Hand-painted decoration of floral spray, lid with knob decorated with yellow and green coloured bands and blue dotted edge. Stamped to base for Carter, Stabler and Adams, Poole, Dorset, England and marked for shape 266 and pattern BF. Pattern designed by Truda Adams. Painters mark for Marian Jones c.1930-1934.
