Summary

Glazed earthenware cup. Part of a coffee set, consisting of coffee pot and lid, milk jug, sugar bowl and six cups and saucers. Hand decorated with red floral patterns on white slip to the exterior and colour floral spray insde. Gilded band edges. 'Windsor' shape designed by Clarice Cliff for A. J. Wilkinson Ltd, at the Royal Staffordshire Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire. Unnamed surface pattern probably also by Clarice Cliff, c.1946-1950.
