Summary
Painting. An oil painting on canvas, three-quarter length seated portrait of John Morgan, 6th Baron Tredegar (1908 - 1962) wearing a green velvet jacket, white shirt and a black bow tie, by Leonard John Fuller (Dulwich 1891 - St Ives 1973), signed bottom left Leonard J Fuller, 1950. Seated in an armchair, leg crossed and hands crossed on his lap. He sits within a light-panelled room, with decorative panel behind him, to left.
Provenance
Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries. In March 2012 the National Trust took over the management of Tredegar House with its contents and its 90 acres of gardens and parkland, from Newport City Council for a period of 50 years.
