Summary
Table. A dark oak credence table. Top is angular in shape with long back and shorter front, made up of two boards. Rests on four round and turned legs with solid shelf base. Rectangular drawer to front, with central key hole and plain apron below with carved brackets. Treated by Valentine Gould 1987.
Provenance
Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries. In March 2012 the National Trust took over the management of Tredegar House with its contents and its 90 acres of gardens and parkland, from Newport City Council for a period of 50 years.
