Summary
Drawing. A black and white print of Thomas Coke,1st Earl of Leicester, KB (1697-1759) of Holkham and Sir William Morgan, KB (1700- 1731), British (English) School, 1725. Two full-length figures walking to the left wearing the robes of Knights of the Bath and plumed hats. Mounted in grey, within a black, wooden, glazed frame, with gilt, moulded inner slip. Has been treated by Valentine Gould June 1984.
Provenance
Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries. In March 2012 the National Trust took over the management of Tredegar House with its contents and its 90 acres of gardens and parkland, from Newport City Council for a period of 50 years.
