Summary

Travelling trunk. Louis Vuitton travelling turnk with wooden, nail-studded supporting bars to front, back and lid. Exterior is leather-covered with pattern of distinctive inter-twined LV and other motifs, reinforced corners. Cream quilted interior to lid, and inside, removable wooded linen-covered trays. Iron drop handles to sides. Covered with destination labels.

Provenance

Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries.
