Summary
Sauce boat. A ceramic 'Aquatic' patterned, oval sauce boat, part of a dinner service, c1900. Narrow on an oval, waved base, with a curved rim that rises to a pouring lip and a curved, angular handle on the side. Decorated with a water lily border in dark blue underglaze on a white background, and leaf decoration to handle.
Provenance
Donated to Newport Museums and Galleries by Mr H.G. Highman in 1983. On loan to the National Trust from Newport Museums and Galleries.
