Summary
Lid of wooden box for a croquet set. There are two hooks one side to secure the top to the base and cut-ins on the other side where hinges were once screwed attaching the top to the base. There are two labels on the top, the main being in green, black and white, with a picture of men and women playing croquet. It is marked 'CROQUET' and underneath the picture 'Jaques & Son, London' The second label below is marked 'DEPOT: Noah's Ark, 22, New Road ST., Bath'
