Summary
One of a pair of William and Mary silver-gilt candlesticks each on square base with cut corners, mark of David Willaume, 1694, chased with a band of flutes, the baluster stem applied at the shoulders with four leopard-masks, the vase-shaped socket with partly-fluted band and with gadrooned borders, each with detachable conical snuffer with scroll handle and with later detachable nozzles, the bases and extinguishers engraved with monogram, with Marquess' coronet above.
