Summary
A fine Regency presentation gold snuff-box, maker's mark IM, London, 1814, the cover set with an enamelled portrait miniature of the Prince Regent attributed to Henry Bone, R.A. within a gilt wreath on blue ground within white band, set on a chased foliage panel on matted ground, with raised foliate border and similarly chased sides and base, the interior of the cover engraved with crown, horse of Hanover and inscription 'The gift of His Royal Highness the Prince Regent to Charles Lord Stewart, 1816'
