Summary
A giltmetal-mounted presentation sabre, by Prosser, the ivory and gold-wire grip with horse's head finial and entwined snake guard, the gold-damascened blade with presentation inscription 'W. Henry Duke of Clarence to General Sir C.W. Stuart, KB' dated 1812, the giltmetal-mounted steel scabbard with red enamel roundels and foliate winged cast mounts, the centre with the arms of Henry, Duke of Clarence, with inscription and the Royal coat-of-arms.
