Oil painting on canvas (arched), Charles Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Viscount Seaham, Viscount Castelreagh, later 6th Marquess of Londonderry (1852-1915) by James Sant, CVO, RA (Croydon 1820 – London 1916), signed, lower right with monogram. A three-quarter-length portrait of a young boy, with a seated dog before him. Possibly identified as Lady Susan Charlotte Catherine Pelham-Clinton (1839 - 1875), married Lt-Colonel Lord Adolphus Frederick Charles William Vane-Tempest, 2nd son of Charles William Vane, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Frances Anne Emily Vane-Tempest.
