Summary
Oil painting on panel, Triptych: Judith standing by a Plinth, Abraham and Isaac, David, manner of Bonifazio de' Pitati (Verona 1487 – Venice 1553), mid to late 16th century. Judith, standing by a plinth, a sword in her right hand, the head of Holofernes in her left; Abraham's sword stayed by an angel in the moment of striking Isaac, represented as a small child carrying a bundle of faggots; David, wearing a Chriass and cloak, stands astride the head of Golaith, a sword in her right hand. The figures stand on the same step, with a low horizon of diatnt hills in the background.
