Oil painting on canvas (grisaille), Summer, style of Jacob de Wit (Amsterdam 1695 – Amsterdam 1754), 19th century. One of two paintings. Putti playing emblematic of Spring and Summer, with flowers and sheaves of corn - grisaille. Pastiches in the manner of Boucher and de Wit. Probably originally from a set of the Four Seasons let into the decoration of a room.
