Summary
An English South Staffordshire tea canister with domed lid, enamel on copper with gilt brass mounts, of rectangular form, painted with oval reserves of Meissen-style harbour scenes, birds in landscapes alternating with flower sprays, within raised scroll borders in gold, against a pale pink ground, circa 1765
