Summary
A Voigtlander Bessa 1 medium format folding camera. The body is metal, mainly covered with black leatherette. The bellows is black leather and metal struts support the lens panel. The lens is marked 'Voigtlander Vaskar 1:4.5/105'. It has a Pronttor-S shutter with eight speeds to 1/200 sec plus B. There is a delayed action facility. The top of the camera is silver and has engraved 'Voigtlander Bessa 1'.There is an accessory shoe and flash synchronisation. The camera uses 120 roll film with a native format of 6x9cm. Different formats may be chosed using internal masks (missing) and a dial aadjusts the viewfinder. On the rear are two red film windows and etched in the leatherette is 'Voigtlander' and 'Germany'. On the base are two tripod bushes and the main panel has a pop-out support leg. On the side is a leather carrying handle.
