Summary
A Leitz Extension Tube. Whilst the functioning is unclear, it is thought to be some form of extension tube. It is an all metal construction with (rather puzzlingly) aperture stops marked f3.5- f16. The front portion rotates with respect to the rear part. A side screp lock the unit into position. On the side of the unit is 'E Leitz, Wetlar Germany'. An alloy front cover is stamped 'Leica' and whilst there is a reat plain cap, this does not fit.
