Summary
Leather case for a Agfa Silette camera (type 2). The whole is a rugged leather case with reinforced areas to the top, bottom and lens area. It comprises two main parts. The first part is created as a cradle covering the bottom back and sides and securing to the camera with a screw into the tripod socket. The rest of the case is secured to the back of the cradle by a rivet which is also a pop fastener to close the case when the camera is not in use. The top and the front of the case drops away so the camera can be used but folds around the camera to complete the protective function. The front of the case is embossed with the AGFA diamond. There is a metal strap and ring rivetted either side of the cradle to which 2 leather straps are attached which are buckled together to provide either a hand or neck strap.
