Summary
Kodak Six-20 Brownie Junior camera. The whole is a simple metal case with a wooden front into which the lens, viewfinders and shutter system have been mounted. It is made to use 620 film and the whole back panel hinges down from a spring and post clip. The film advance winder is withdrawn and the film holder can be removed. There is a red porthole in the back panel to see the frame numbers. The top of the camera has a leather hand strap, which is embossed "Made in Gt Britain by Kodak Ltd", attached to two metal posts and a viewfinder for when the camera is used in portrait format. The right side of the camera has a viewfinder for use when in landscape format and the film advance winder. This Six-20 Brownie Junior lacks any aperture or focus adjustment; and simply has an Instant/Time switch for the shutter. This control and the shutter release are found below the viewfinder The left side has a tripod socket for use when in landscape format. The base of the camera has a tripod socket for use when in portrait format. The front of the camera is plain black with two roiund viewfinder lenses near the top and the lens central. around the lens is printed "Six-20 'Brownie' Junior".
