Summary
Leather case for a Agfa Silette camera (type 1). The whole is a rugged leather case with reinforced areas to the top, bottom and lens area. It comprises two main parts. The first part is created as a cradle covering the bottom back and sides and securing to the camera with a screw into the tripod socket. The rest of the case is secured to the back of the cradle by a rivet which is also a pop fastener to close the case when the camera is not in use. The top and the front of the case drops away so the camera can be used but folds around the camera to complete the protective function. There is a strap attached to the right side of the cradle but the one on the left side has snapped off. N.B. The stitching to the top of the case is damaged.
