Summary
A Plaubel Makina Sheet Film Camera. The body is metal, partly covered with black leather. It has a black leather bellows and metal struts top and bottome holding the lens panel in position. There are both optical and frame viewfinders. There is also a rangefinder. On the front of the rangefinder unit is 'Plaubel Makina'. The lens panel is black and printed on it is 'Plaubel Makina D.R.P. Compur Plaubel RO Frankfurt OM'. The Compur leaf shutter has eight speeds to 1/200 sec plus T and B. The lens is marked 'Plaubel A.G. Frankfurt M. No.97989 Anticomer 1:2.9 f=10cm'. The lens is fittem with a screw mounted yellow filter which has the marking 'Plaubel dunkel'. At the rear of the camera is a removable ground glass focusing screen with a fabric eyshield and leather cover. This is removed to insert the film holders. There is a metal fabric lined lens cap. On the side is a leather carrying handle.
