Summary
Leather case for a Rolleicord 1A camera. The whole is of firm leather construction and part lined with burgundy, plush fabric. Based on a leather cradle, which encloses three sides of the camera, perforated to allow access to the controls The rest of the case comprises two main parts. The front leather portion is embossed “Rollei F&H” and is sewn to the cradle so that in use it drops down below the camera. The top is attached to the leather front by rivets which allows it to hinge slightly. The top closes to the sides of the case by two conical studs.. The two part strap is rivetted to each side of the base of the case, This has a further strap attached to increase the length. There is a lens hood in a case attached to the strap.
