Summary
An external shutter. The shutter is woused in a wooden unit and comprise a curtain driven by a clockwork mechanism. There are five speeds from 1/15 to 1/90 sec. A clamping screw hold the unit to the front of the lens. There are no marks to identify the maker - possibly Lancaster, but no record has been found showind this type of shutter. It is liely to come from J E Thornton The driving levers are mainly brass.
