Summary
Case for an Ihagee Exacta B Camera. The whole is of firm leather construction and lined with brown, plush fabric. Based on a leather cradle which encloses three sides of the camera it attaches to the camera by means of a knurled bolt which secures to the tripod socket. The rest of the case which comprises two main parts. The front wrap around is attached to a wide strap which is rivetted to the base so that in use it drops down below the camera. The top which is embossed “Ihagee” is also attached to the strap that is riveted to the base camera. The top and front sections complete the structure of the case by joining with a sprung hasp and staple style clip which is stamped "Brev SGOG Foreign Pats." Two halves of a hand strap are riveted to the base of the case, they thread through two small riveted straps either side of the front section. This strap has been extended to a neckstrap by the adjustable belt style strap attached.
