Summary

Ihagee Exacta B Camera using 127 roll film. The whole is a metal construction with simulated leather body work 127 roll film camera. The body narrows to the standard from both sides The front of the camera has in white the word “Exakta” above the lens and from the standard the lens mount has a helical focus ring marked from 3 feet to 50 feet and infinity. This is operated by releasing the lock and moving the mount with the lever. The mount is marked “468498 Ihagee” The lens has a screw mount and an aperture ring marked 1.9 – 16. The front of the lens is marked “JH Dallmeyer London Super –Six Anastigmat f1.9 F=3” 172824. Around the lens is embossed “Ensign E29”. There is a filter in place marked Dallmeyer X3 Filter. On the left side front panel is the shutter release button. Either side has a fixing for a neckstrap and a braided leather strap is attached. The top of the camera has to the left the film advance lever and the shutter speed dial marked from B to 1000 .Then there is the fold out through the lens viewfinder which is embossed “Ihagee” and a logo. On the right is a dial which controls the variable delayed release and timed exposures up to 12 seconds. The left side of the camera is the slide fastening which allows whole back to open to the right to expose the film compartment. Inside the back of the camera either side of the sprung plate is embossed “DRP British P No 4-10306 414485” and “ USA P No Schweiz P+No 175376 176059”. The back has a red glass porthole to see the frame number with a spring metal slide cover The bottom of the camera is has a centrally located tripod socket.
