Summary
A Johnson Opticscope no 6. The lamp housing is black metal with vents at the top and sides. On the front is a chrome label 'Johnson Optiscope Model 6'. A wooden slide carrier takes two 31/4 inch square slides. The lens is screw mounted onto the panel which moves on two chrome rails for focusing all attach to a leather bellows. Fine focus is achieved by rotation within the lens mount. Both the slide carrier and lens are detached for carriage. The axial position of the laamp is adjustable. On the base of the stand is the on/off switch and cable connection points.
