Canon SPEEDLITE 199A. The whole is a Canon SPEEDLITE 199A. Working from the bottom there are 3 clips to attach the speedlite to the camera. There is a gold coloured label with the words PASSED JCII 84. On the left hand side is a slide that allows for the item to be locked. Above this are 2 lights that sit either side with the words – AUTO CHECK, PILOT, LIGHT, TEST. Above this is the main body with the circular dial that displays the – ASA and numbers, DIN and numbers, Ft, M, and F numbers. Either side are 2 buttons that move up and down, 1 is ON/OFF. Underneath is the words SPEEDLITE 199A, CANON, JAPAN. At the top is the flash that allows for it to be moved up & down. On the left hand side is the slide for the batteries to be inserted/removed. On the back near the bottom is the word Canon. Canon Speedlite 199A Set (Consists of Speedlite 199A, case and wide adaptor) The Canon Speedlite 199A is a dedicated, thyristorized flash unit designed for operation with Canon "A" series cameras.
