Polaroid Supercolor 635 Camera The whole is a rugged plastic construction with a very angular design. The flash unit folds down to protect the flash the viewfinder and the lens when not in use. When closed the front of the camera is embossed "Polaroid" on what becomes the top of the flash and it is printed "Supercolor" in white and "634" in red above the slot that the print ejects through. When in use the front of the camera is printed with a rainbow stripe and "Polaroid" in white beside the flash and "LM PROGRAM" beside the lens. The shutter release is on the right side. Below the shutter release is a slide control which opens the film compartment. A 600 land film cassette is installed but appears to be empty. There are two metal loops attached to the back of the camera to which a sturdy webbing neckstrap attaches. Polaroid has designed a unique photographic system. Using a tiny electronic computer, the system - a camera with a built-in flash and Polaroid 600 Land film - measures light from the subject and blends it with the right amount of flash for beautiful pictures, indoors and outdoors. In strong sunlight, the flash adds just enough light to soften the harsh shadows. The camera's built-in flash unit lifts up for picture-taking, folds down for carrying ease. The flash is designed to be used for every picture - outdoors and indoors. It charges automatically in about 3 seconds every time you load film into the camera when the flash unit is raised, when you have taken a picture, when you raise the flash unit with film already in the camera, or when you simply touch the shutter button. The Supercolor 635CL has a built-in close-up lens which allows you to take pictures from as close as 60cm (2ft.).
