Summary

No 2 Model F Brownie camera by Kodak Ltd The whole is a metal construction with simulated blue leather body work.120 roll film box camera. It has a Meniscus lens and a rotary shutter. As this metal version is coloured and has black metal parts it was produced in London. The front of the camera has three circular openings, two for the viewfinders and one for the lens The top of the camera has two slide controls at the front, the one on the left holds the shutter to allow for long exposures and the one in the centre provides three aperture stops. To the right is the portrait format viewfinder eyepiece. There are two metal bosses fitted to the top of the camera to which a leather strap is fixed. This is embossed “Brownie”. At the back of the top is the clip to open the film compartment. The right side of the camera has the landscape format viewfinder eyepiece and the film advance knob. The left side of the camera has a tripod socket. The back of the camera has a red glass porthole to see the frame number and below is embossed “No 2 Brownie Made in Great Britain by Kodak Ltd” This is in a circle around “Use Kodak Film No120” The bottom of the camera also has a tripod socket.
