Summary
Rolleiflex 4X4 twin lens reflex camera. The whole is a metal construction 127 film twin lens reflex camera The top of the camera conceals the fold out viewfinder and the top has an embossed plate which reads “Rollei F&H”. The front of the camera, has embossed bodywork at the top reading “Rolleiflex, below are the two lenses. Finder lens: Heidosmat 2,8/60mm, Bayonet 1 Taking Lens: Schneider Xenar 3,5/60mm Bayonet 1 Beneath the lens is a dual ring adjustment to control of aperture and shutter speed. below is the Shutter: Synchro Compur MXV, 1 - 1/500 sec., B, and the X-sync socket. To the right of the lenses is the flash control lever (used in conjunction with the synchro lever release button which is located under the lens standard) with settings for flash bulb, electronic flash and V which appears to be used only when using Bulb setting. The left side of the camera has a knurled knob which allows the film speed to be set and provides focus control and there is a neck strap eyelet to which a leather neck strap is attached (this is broken). The right side of the camera has a knurled knob which which is the film winder and there is a neck strap eyelet to which the other end of the leather neck strap is attached The back of the camera opens upward and out to reveal the film compartment. It opens by means of a tab that moves around the tripod socket and a clip on the bottom of the camera The bottom of the camera also has one tripod socket and the film rewind button.
