Summary
Agilux flashgun. The whole is a flash gun which is designed to fix to the camera by means of a tripod bush screw through the metal bracket base of the unit. The battery case then forms an upright support for the flash against the left side of the camera. The battery case is hard black plastic and is marked “Made in England” around the Agilux logo. There is a spring clip securing the batteries. The reflector dish is 150mm in diameter and contains the push in bulb holder in the centre. There is a flash bulb ejector button (lever) behind the reflector which prevents the need to handle hot bulbs. There is a safety screen over the reflector which hinges at the bottom and has two spring clips at the top. There is a standard flash sync cable leading from the top of the battery compartment.
