Summary
Pistol grip of the Photosniper outfit. This is an elongated pistol grip with gun style trigger, It is of metal construction with plastic scales on the handle. From the back, as in use, there is a socket and clamping screw to attach the shoulder butt. Next there is a fully adjustable supporting ring which attaches to and actuates the camera base shutter release. In front is a further actuating pin which releases the diaphragm. Next is the tripod screw and the two locating pins which attach to the three hole mount on the lens. There is a space at the front of the pistol grip into which the lens focusing drum fits. Finally, at the end of the pistol grip and forward of the focus drum space are two very sturdy mounts to take a leather strap.
