Summary
A Nikkormat SLR camera. The body is metal with a leatherette covering and the top and bottom are chrome. On the frontt of the pentaprism is 'Nikkormat' and the top shows the serial number 'FT 3116695'. The rear shows ' Nikon Japan' and the base says 'Made in Japan'. The camera is fully automatic with aperture priority. Apertures range f2-f16, and the lens has inscribed 'Nikkor-S Auto 1:2 f=5cm Nippon Kogaku Japan No 546757'. Film speed ratings range 12-1600 ASA. The shutter is focal plane and there is a tripod bush on the base. The lens has a plastic lens cap which screw on. The outer face has 'Nikkor' embossed whilst the inside says '52mm J.U.M.515.897 Nikon Japan'. On the underside of the lens mount is printed 'Lens made in Japan Pat.Pend.'.
