Summary
Agfa Photo CL18 Digital Dual mode camera. Agfa's palm-sized "dual use" digital camera it's only VGA (640 x 480) and has a built-in 2MB memory (enough for 32 images) or it can be used as a webcam with ArcSoft VideoImpress or Microsoft NetMeeting. The CL18 is the first digital camera in Agfa's ePhoto line to have web-cam capabilities. Shipped with a video cradle, the digital camera can be easily attached to a monitor resulting in the easy facilitation of either video conferencing or online chats. Users will find this set up process to be simple and fast. Simply slip the CL18 into its cradle, connect the USB cable to both the camera and monitor and plug the universal mini-video output connection in. Shortly thereafter two, three or even several people can communicate face-to-face online. The whole is a plastic bodied digital camera The front of the camera, described as in use, on the right side is a handgrip embossed with “ephoto”. In the centre is the lens around which is “AGFA DIGITAL LENS 1:20 f=7.2mm (45mm Equiv)”. Above the lens is the viewfinder and beside the flash unit. Bottom left is printed “AGFA and the red diamond Agfa logo”. The back of the camera has the viewfinder centrally with a green lamp beside. Below is printed “ePHOTO CL18. Beneath is a LCD screen with a control button near each corner marked “Quality, on/off, Flash/Timer and Rec/Play” The top of the camera is marked “Dual Mode photo genie and the shutter release is on the right assembly. The right side of the camera has two holes for securing a wrist strap. The left side of the camera has a flap concealing the USB and video ports The bottom right of the camera is the battery compartment. Central is a label which reads “ePHOTO CL18 Digital still camera, 63EF00185, Agfa Made in Taiwan”. To the left is the tripod socket.
