Summary
Nikon COOLPIX 4300 camera. The main features of the camera are:- [AUTO] mode for point-and-shoot operation and 12 versatile Scene Modes Exclusive 256-segment Matrix Metering 5-Area Multi Autofocus for easier photo composition Best-Shot Selector (BSS) automatically chooses the "sharpest" image from consecutive shots Versatile white balance settings and White Balance Bracketing Small Picture function creates smaller size image data for easily e-mailing Transfer button for one-touch upload of image data to a computer Movie mode at approx. 15 frames per second (fps.) for up to 40 seconds. Macro shooting as close as 4cm (1.6 in.) Bright, clear 1.5-in., 110,000-dot, low-temperature polysilicon TFT LCD monitor The back of the camera has a viewfinder with flash and autofocus indicator lamps. Below is the 40mm monitor screen and beneath are exposure compensation, focus mode, flash mode and menu buttons. To the right is the zoom lens rocker switch, the one touch transfer button, the multi selector dialand the quick review button at the bottom. To the right side is the flap containing the compact flash card slot (a 2GB card is in place). The top of the camera is marked Coolpix 4300 and on the right side is the combined on/off switch and shutter release. Behind this is the mode dial. The right side of the camera has a fitting for a strap and a neck strap/lanyard is attached. Beneath is a flap covering the battery charging port and the DC in port. The left side of the camera has a video out port. The bottom of the camera has the battery compartment flap and a rechargeable EN-EL1 battery is inside. There is a tripod socket and a label which reads “Nikon E4300 Made in Korea Nikon Corp Japan, 8.4V – 1.1 6V – 1.1A and the number 8221049. The front of the camera has a handgrip shaped by the battery compartment and bearing the text “Nikon Coolpix 4300 and a label which reads “ 4.0 effective Megapixels, 3X 38 – 114 mm Optical zoom, Quick review,12 Easy scene modes, One touch upload to the PC”. On the main body is the flash, red eye reduction/self timer lamp and the viewfinder with the lens below. The lens is marked “Zoom Nikkor 8 – 24mm1:2.8 – 4.9” and is protected by a separate plastic lens cap, marked Nikon, which is attached to the neckstrap.
