Summary
Polaroid Colorpack 80 camera Film type: Peel-apart 80-Series Land Pack Films (3 1/4" x 3 3/8", image=2 3/4" x 2 7/8") such as Polaroid 87, 88, Viva. (All discontinued). Manual focus from 3 feet to infinity. ISO 75 for colour prints, 3000 for black and white. Cold clip. Viewfinder contains a red square to show where the head in a portrait should appear. Accepts flashcubes such as Phillips PFC 4. Shutter requires two standard 1.5V AA batteries The whole is a plastic construction resembling a stylised bellows camera. The body of the camera is rectangular with a large label across the back with instructions for developing the film. Centre left is a post and staple in metal to connect straps , attached is a wrist and hand strap made of plastic. On the right end is a large clip which holds the film compartment closed. On the top there is a large viewfinder which extends over the legth of the camera. At the front of the camera body is a rectangular standard. The top surface is embossed "Flash 4-10Ft only Remove cube when not using flash”.. There is a slide button to change from 75 – 3000 ASA in front of which is a slot through which you can see the distance markings on the side of the lens and on the right there is a large lockable shutter release. On the left side is a flash cube shoe. The front of the standard is marked “Land Camera” in black on silver and “Polaroid Colorpack 80” in silver on red. To the left of te lens is a dial to adjust exposure, this is annotated with ablack outline of a head on silver and a silver outline of a head on black. The lens is unmarked except for focus distances marked around the barrel of the lens from 3.5 – 50+.
